It's all about communication, the club don't have to commit to a date for a new manager or reveal the shortlist but should have the good sense to provide an update on where they are currently in the process and when they will provide a further update

What does that mean? Everton have an agreement for VP to stay at porto?

After reading it a few itmes I think its implying that if Pereira won the league with Porto this season then he would feel that it was job done and he'd agree to move to Everton. Which is why this doesn't seem credible at all as its an odd thought process to go through unles ssomething has been lost in translation.
