Taken from Talksport.....Bill Kenwright has today poured water on rumours linking Tony Pulis with the vacant managerial position at Goodison Park. Rumours surfaced online yesterday that Pulis had been spotted in the posh Merseyside suburb of Formby. While it has been confirmed that Pulis was in fact on Merseyside yesterday wearing his trademark cap and smackhead coat combo, he was there visiting a friend with no connections to Everton. Local resident Vitor Perriwinkle said " I got quite a shock when I seen him leaving Alex Currans house, she is the local clunge for hire, and Mr Pulis looks a bit too old for that kind of thing", he added ," I would have thought Dominoes and Heroin were more his scene". "Now if you'll excuse me I have a seafood cataplana, and superbok on the table, and the Mout is ringing at 8 bells".

I think its off lids.

Agree, he would [Poor language removed] most of the fans in one swoop if he hired the likes of Stubbs/Neville.

Yep and if it failed then everyone would get even more on his back. If he went with a fans choice like Pereira and it failed then at least we could understand because a lot of people wanted him

Lcab is like Ted Rogers and the clues he used to read out on 3-2-1
'the clue said 'look to the seaside'.. Now you took this to mean we were signing Tom Ince from Blackpool. Lets see.. Well seaside rhymes with Teeside, Middlesborough is the biggest city in Teeside, the club that Brian Clough used to play for. Clough rhymes with tough, if you are tough you are 'hard as nails' what do you use for nails - a hammer. Thats right you are signing Das Hammer, Thomas Hitzlesperger on a short term deal!!
This is excellent.

You just know we will get Stubbs after all this conjecture. Everton that.

Good, the more people get excited at the prospects of Pereira coming in, the better.

That way, when it's denied and someone underwhelming like an internal or lower league manager is appointed, more venom will be heading in the direction of our loveable owners.

BK has more to lose from hiring internally IMO

Good point.

He said at the start of the process that he'd listen to the fanbase & the fanbase have largely given an internal appt the thumbs down.

He'd be going against the groundswell of opinion if he appointed an internal, thus he'd make himself more exposed to flack. Making what appears to be a popular decision, would give him more comfort I'm sure.

5-2 across the board now
