....sounds like Martinez is stalling for time, but why? Perhaps he doesn't want to leave until a job he fancies is confirmed and the Blues haven't approached him. Perhaps he the Blue's have approached him and he doesn't want the job. Who knows what is going on.
I'm not convinced by Periera. I think its a real gamble taking direct from abroad and I'm suspicious of his CV before he joined Porto. Mike Walker came to us on the back of single success over a limited period at one club. Martinez is less of a risk for me and remains my preference, but who knows.
