You've just had a go at AVB for spending £60 odd million and finishing a place below Redknapp, 5th in his first season at Tottenham.

Did you forget Mark Hughes spent over £100m in his first season at Man City and finished 10th one season after Sven took them to a 9th place position and spending less?

Then look at his record at QPR and the ****e he bought in.

Minor blips in the worlds hardest league mate

This Vic fella has never had a challenge, Winning the league is a given over there

Really hope this is a goer. With the imminent arrival of Jose Mourinho (who always speaks highly of Everton) back to Chelsea, AVB we could have our very own Portuguese manager.

Hes done nothing but beat Benfica imo and has done what Lennon has done with Celtic
Looks like he's done a tad better than Lennon on the buying and selling players part though. Although Mout seems to suggest he wasn't responsible for that? Surely he'd have had some input even if they have a director of football type. From what I've read (and seen to a small extent) his style of play fits well with ours (when we're good). High pressure and possession. The high pressure part I especially like -- we spent a lot of time in the final third this year but felt we perhaps didn't pressure enough off the ball. Solid defensively too. Yes the league he manages in is a valid concern ... but there is no manager we could appoint that doesn't have some question marks. I prefer untested in the Prem to tested and failed (or untested anywhere).

I'd like Vitor Pereira to be our new manager to replace David Moyes. Thanks for reading.
I'd like Vitor Pereira to be our new manager. He would replace the former Preston manager who has left to replace the former East Stirlingshire manager at Manchester United.
