Portuguese League = Dutch League except for the fact Porto and Benfica are much better than the top-2 in the Netherlands and mid and low level teams are defensively oriented in Portugal and offensively focused in the Netherlands.

Sorry if this has been asked, but if he does take over, are there any Porto players you would expect him to try take with him??

Let's be optimistic for a minute: Could VP be keeping the door open for us? Let's say we have spoken to him, not offering him the job. He has gone away, met Porto chairman, who offers new contract. He says he needs time, sits off, waits for EFC offer, which duly comes. In all honesty, why would he hang around there, when he hasn't lost A SINGLE LEAGUE GAME all season, yet they still um and ah over him? He could come to one of the biggest clubs in England, with one of the biggest fanbases, and a supreme history. Looking at it in the cold light of day and taking off the blue tinted specs, his agent would tell him the EFC chairman is not one who will sack him for losing three games in a row.

Ok, I know I am being optimistic, we probably haven't even spoke to him. (puts away crack pipe)

Instead of #Everton's usual 4-4-1-1, if Porto's manager does come, it will most likely switch to Pereira's favored formation of a 4-3-3.

Dont know who this guy is but he's giving his insite on Pereira and tactics and things.

Thing is, Pereira plays 4-3-3 and it is essentially that in an attacking sense. He doesnt play 3 out and out strikers, he plays the one forward and 2 wide players. But when not in possesion of the ball, those wide players slot back into midfield and really make it a 4-5-1 formation.

His tactics arent too dissimilar to what managers deploy in the premier league and across Europe these days.

Good luck Vitor in finding three strikers in our squad. Pml.

Vellios and Anichebe playing off of Jelevic?

have we offered Mick McCarthy a contract yet ?

My mate Al just text me saying: contract talks have stalled due to Blue Bill being informed of Gary Megson's availability by Julie Neville. - My source is never wrong, he text me saying it was 'James Beattie in' at Accrington Stanley before it was announced.
