I'm pretty sure we won't be hearing anything official about the appointment outside of office hours, so unveiling tomorrow just sounds stupid.
Everyone's saying it's going down on monday and i'm inclined to believe that. Here's hoping the board have their act together. Collectively as a forum we've probably put in a much bigger shift og speculating and evaluating, and if it really does come out as we seem to agree (Pereira first choice, Martinez the backup option) i'd say that's a pretty good result.

Now, let's ignore all Everton related news for 72 hours.

Is it true that Vitor was at the Everton V Chelsea game at Goodison?? Apparently at Finch Farm watching the training Moyes does with the players??

We know he was at a game near Christmas, might have been that one.

Doubt he was at training though.

I registered with Paddy Power last night and put £40 on Vitor at 4/1. They gave me a free bet for £40 so put this on Martinez at 7/2. If anyone is interested in doing similar they will give you a free bet up to the value of your first bet. Seemed like a good chance to cover myself, although Vitor is my main choice.

I got told it yesterday, taking it with a pinch of salt though.

But, Moyes in his younger days used to goto different clubs to watch the training, even when he was a player. Always remember reading an article were Moyes wrote to all the top clubs in the mid 90's, and Bobby Robson replied with a hand written letter when he was manager of Barcelona, Inviting him over to watch training. Moyes was unable to make it to playing commitments in the end.

Vitor might have asked, I'm sure Moyes would have agreed to let him.

There wont be any news from our end on Monday as it's a bank holiday.
