I wouldn't call finishing 5th 'flopping at Spurs'. They were pipped for 4th on the very last day.

No one's exactly calling for him to be sacked.
 

He spent 60m on players to keep up with the pack, He fell behind due to him being a meff haired beaut

But he didn't have Jags, Baines, Distin, Seamus... Then did he..

The point is he had money to spend but he didn't deal with the problem at the back. To think Martinez is a savior or god of attacking football is insane. For christ sake he just relegated his team and never finished above 15th in the league.
