Thought about this, dunno how I'd feel about it tho, better than Martinez, that's for sure. Glad to see Steve clarkes odds coming in. I think he'd be a great appointment
Three trophies in 3 years one being a title, ok they had huge money to spend but would take a league winner over a league failure any day and the city fans seem to rate him

Quote from Ralf:
"I wasn't prepared to see the club sell its best players every year to generate a pittance of transfer funds."

I suppose thats supposed to be a 'joke' against Everton, by you. The only quote from him is that he has two years left on his current contract, and 'don't believe all you hear'.

Just knocked this up, can we have this lining the gwladys next season?

good work sir.

BOBBY MARTIN IN

The only delay with Martinez will be the compensation for him and his assistant manager if that cannot be agreed deal & if that falls through, I expect an internal appointment -just my opinion as this is dragging on & Dave Whelan is quiet.

Kenwright + Martinez OUT

Lets give it a rest with the manager out business before one is even appointed. We don't want to be like those idiotic muppet-head Stoke fans camping in their ground's car park with their 'Hughes Out' placards, stupid grins and their 'oh look theres the reporter from Sky News, maybe I'm on TV' blank, gormless, vacant, soulless expressions.

Granted, I'd be pretty miffed if Hughes was appointed as my team's manager but all of this jumping the gun is of no help to anyone.

Its like Steve Kean at Blackburn. He was by no means good but he wasn't the worst, yet he was never going to get anywhere with the attitude of the fans, no matter what he did. Its obvious the owners were at fault there, they appointed him after all. But the manager was made, and will always be, the focal point, which suits owners and chairman down to the ground! When results unsurprisingly didn't go well for their 'supported' manager, their fans weren't smart enough and went with it. Seeing them in the stands with their hateful banners was pathetic. If he proved to be a bad manager after a decent amount of games, then by all means protest but my point is their 'fans' had their minds made up before a ball was even kicked. Now they are a couple more managers down the line, in the same mess, and the owners haven't gone anywhere. Result?

As the essence of what Ferguson said to the Utd fans, whatever your preference, give the new manager a chance before making full judgement.
