Oh well... They're still blinded that Kenwright made "the right decision before". As I understand, Moyes wasn't even Billy's first choice?

And also, and probably much more important: he made the right decision when we were a mid-table team. Now we're not anymore. I'm still being far to realistic if I say that 5th is probably the highest possible in the next seasons (plural), but it's the first thing we need to aim at. Starting with a hot sexy lazer formation.

Is rite mate if we fail to finish in the top 7 or 8 our top players will want to leave they want to challenge for europe

"In response to regrettable and somewhat premature reports earlier this evening, Everton Football Club are continuing discussions with regards to the vacant managerial position.

Whilst positive moves are being made, the Club will officially announce details as and only when they are agreed and completed."

I see that as reference to the manager job and not the amount of compensation.... but I guess it could be either way mate.

If they still were thinking about VP or others, then hear a premature comment from DW and a subsequent media frenzy, they would want to holt those ideas straight away as to make sure VP or others dont get the hump and seek different employment.

Thanks buddy, I think I missed the whole weekend of rumour and conjecture and didn't come by really yesterday due to the Bob fume so I must've missed that haha!

I think we are kidding ourselves that its going to be Pereira but the fact remains Martinez and Kenwright must disagree about something otherwise it would all be signed and sealed by now.
So what is the holdup? Were told hopalongs compo has been sorted so you would assume it must be one of the following:
Wages
Backroom Staff( are we telling him he must use the people already there).
The Transfer Budget
Or is Martinez just bottling it ( It wouldn't be the first time)

What else could it be?

I read on Twitter (don't remember what account, but it was a reporter of SSN or a newspaper in the UK) that he didn't have the entire backing of the backroom staff.
 
If only Pereira could happen. Its a long way away now, already settled with Martinez and even then i'm not disappointed, can just see our Roberto doing well.
