Me too mate. I just get a bit arsey when people say he's a bit Mike Walker after getting a smaller side than us to a euro semi or he'd get us relegated on the back of nothing.

It'd be good to discuss who we might get and who we'd like without the hysteria and scaremongering.

I don't know how old you are mate but in my lifetime we've had Kendall the first time who was great, Moyes who has done ok, Billy Bingham who had us playing good football and then a load of old pony. So excuse me if I'm a bit nervous about what a new manager might bring. That said, i would far prefer Yakin to Lennon, Hughes, O'Neill, Allardyce etc.

YES PLEASE.

Cant see us getting Laudrup, he just signed a new contract and Martinez is going down with wigan so we cant consider him now.

Laudrup still has 14 months left on his contract but, having also been linked with Real Madrid, Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins has admitted he has a plan in place should he leave.

He signed a 1 year extension to ensure they get some compensation, not a five year contract or any such thing. He would cost about £5m, the price of a 3rd rate midfielder these days.

How fast do you reckon we´ll get a new manager in? I haven´t really been paying attention when, over the years, clubs have sacked and hired managers.

Surely it will done within reasonable time, right? If we don´t appoint someone fairly quickly and our key players start handing in transfer requests we could be ripe for relegation next season.

I want someone young, positive with a spark. Not a British journey man like Allerdyce or Hughes.

Don't mind the club paying a fee for a manager, at least a decent manager. This is our most important signing right now. A new manager.

Did/has laudrup done anything bar his 1 good season with Swansea?

Which by the way they were terrible start of season and end...had a great middle part.

Before I get jumped on not saying he's not good but 1 season doesn't mean he's gonna be great?
