Funny how the opinion on Martinez has shifted wildly from him winning the cup to getting relegated. So fickle.

He'd definitely do a decent job here, highlighted by the copious reasons given throughout this thread, not just hurp derp he got them relegated.

If Martinez is our new boss then he will not be bringing the Wigan back 4 with him.

Calm down, think a happy thought.

Give the guy a chance.

Or get Rafael, best record of anyone available.

He comes from a very big club so if anything he would want us to be bigger in all aspects. He'd be aiming for CL/title for sure. He's only used to that with Porto.

Not really a reason is it that's an assumption about his character

Record versus Arsenal, Chelsea, United, Liverpool. Comparing Martinez's tenure at Wigan to the same period for Everton under Moyes.

2009/10
Moyes - 2 points
Martinez - 0 points

2010/11
Moyes - 2 points
Martinez - 1 point

2011/12
Moyes - 1 point
Martinez - 6 points

2012/13
Moyes - 2 points
Martinez - 0 points

Moyes - 7 points
Martinez - 7 points

Hmmmm.....

Could you pretty please compare home records against the same teams?

Martinez record at pl level Wigan or not is ****...... Doesn't mean he's a bad manager jol was good At Tottenham but for Fulham he's ****....... Stay away from both and lets get vitor in and have some balls

All the proper big-time serious managers don't end up being guests on MOTD or Soccer AM. Think have u ever seen SAF or Mourinho or Wenger on these types of shows. This leaves Pereira as the only option out of Mackay/Martinez and himself. It has to be done.

Please tell me you're not calling the Charity Shield a major honour.

Winners of the Premier League against the winners of the FA Cup... most here including yourself hold winning the FA Cup in pretty high regard. So surely it would be a major honor to beat either the winners of the FA Cup or the Premier League and get a trophy for it.
