AF stated he had decided to retire in December 2012 just at the time DM started stalling - I will sign at the end of Jan - then I will see where we finish for Europe if we had finished in the top 4 he would have gone! How did DM conclude a six year deal with Man U in 2 days lets get real BK has been asleep as usual! or knowing BK he knew about it all!
With some of the things Moyes has said over the last few days, coupled with how he's conducted himself this season when he clearly knew he was going. I've lost all respect for the guy. He could have signed a new deal with us, and we'd have had some compensation. It wouldn't have affected his move to Man U if they really wanted him, he's used this club to further his own ambitions and has zero regard for what's left behind. His opinion, based on what he's said, clearly shows that he's only seen us as a stepping stone and regards us as a small club.
I can't wait for him to go, don't let the door bang you on the back of the head on the way out Moyes
I think I've resigned my self to the fact we're going to plummet down the league when he goes. We're either going to promote from within, or go for one of the lack lustre mangers in the domestic league, when we've got an opportunity to gain the interest of three or four top level managers from overseas. With the Man City and Chelsea jobs nailed on for Pellegrini and Mourinho, neither clubs are bigger than Everton by the way and that's a fact. What big jobs are out there in the EPL? There's a host of managers who want to manage here, and we're most definitely the biggest club that's available, even with our lack of financial clout.
We're about to miss out on a big opportunity to push us forward here, and that for me has consolidated my opinion of bungling bill. The guy bought the club for a pittance, and is looking to cash in on a big sale.
