Moyes to Sunderland

As stated previously I don't mind Moyes BUT if you were a Sunderland fan , or god forbid a player approached by Moyes over the next week or so how would you feel about this statement
"I'm confident we'll get a few in before 1 September, but the quality of the players that Sunderland can get at the moment is probably not what I've had in the Premier League. Not even close."

He is not helping himself there like

Moyes man management at its best. How not to make friends and influence people to choose another club. I almost feel sorry for them.

Good morning squad.

Not sure why Moyes let Yedlin go to the Geordies. The side desperately needs pace and/or warm bodies. He played pretty well last year and given that he's still learning would have only gotten better. And 5M today is pocket change. These are the kind of bargain signings that Moyes used to make.

I think its cos hes really rubbish.

And

David Moyes is the biggest myth in the game. Our media would be scathing of him if he wasn't British. Instead, he gets the "Good ol Moyes, he tries his best" treatment.

He would still be our manager too if Manchester Utd never came calling - let that sink in for a moment!

No he wouldn't - definitely not under Moshiri. And we probably would've had 2 better seasons in 14/15 and 15/16.

I'll happily revisit this with you at the end of the season mate

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. But the Risk Vs Reward ratio of us bringing him in on a loan was defo worth us having a go IMO

He's going to look really good there because he'll play every day and unless Defoe goes nuts like he did in the spring they are going need to run the attack through Januaz. He'd be more of a squad guy here. Rashford on loan is the one we need.
