Moyesy Says Stuff!

Its not a debate mate, if i saw an Admin or Mod do it id warn them as well.

Bah. I suppose you're right.

But any excuse for him to be claiming "Moyes would be on drugs not to consider the mighty Villa" etc etc etc

You know it's coming. Oh and "it's Moyes fault ..."

I dont take too seriously his comments anymore about ambition - if he had any he'd have taken a stand way before this point with the Everton board.

Oh look... there it is

I must say you two, your constant anti davek / anti matt going back and forth is getting a bit unsavoury and monotonous, i don't wanna put you on ignore, so why not just knock it on the head. I'm sure i'm not the only one tired of it..

I'm finding it harder and harder to like Moyes. Deluded. Never takes personal responsibility for his teams performance.

All I read in that statement is tired excuse after tired excuse.

Its ok lad. I'm off again.

I'll leave you to the little gems like "Moyes would be on drugs not to consider the mighty Villa" etc etc etc

Well, my view of Moyes is that he's tough on the playing staff but not really someone who follows it through with his employers. Bottom line for me with Moyes: he's happy as long as everyone acknowledges that he works under huge financial pressures and is working wonders on the limit budget he receives. If he gets his ego massaged in that respect he'll just purr contentedly and count his very substantial wages.

So you think hes afraid in some sense of the board. I have to say i find it hard to consider him cowering when faced with Bill and Bob. To be honest, i always try reason why he goes out of his way to back the board in the media, he voluenteers the info - he doesnt have to and i dont think its contrived in the main.

Leads me to beleive that the board would be closer to my hypothesis then the Kenwright is the route of evil arguement.

Bit harsh mate. He does hold his hand up and take a hit for the team when they've stunk the gaff out.

Still needs to push the board though. Not that he has it in him like.

Really? I don't see it. All I see there is him moaning about not getting a striker over the summer, and if we did then we'd have won the league, apparently.

Still haven't forgiven him for sitting on the bench silent, looking bored during the Bolton debacle tbh. That was the image of a man who has done his time here and should leave.

I'm not saying he'd cower away from Kenwright, I'd just say he doesn't like upsetting him. He's a company man. And he gets very well paid for it. That's why he backs the board. And I think he likes the sense of coming to BK's rescue when the liar is under attack. I might be wrong, but that's my two dimes worth of psychology in any case.

Seems they give him total control on the footballing side of things, that must be vitaly improtant to him, i suppose they back him as much as they can as well.

Matt i assume by ' i'm off again ' you're off in a strop again? well fair enough, but what i will say is having an opinion as you've said above quoting Davek i assume, is fine by me. Personal insults as you typed above - and quickly edited - are not, i've always enjoyed this place, its free of any type of personal abuse, packed FULL of banter, and boss chat and people. Calling someone a kopite - is just not on, it's bang on. Call me old fashioned, or if i have misunderstood.

Yes, very significant. I'd go with your comment: there's an understanding: Kenwright keeps quiet on the footy side; Moyes doesn't rock the boat too much on the off-field situation.

Unfortunately the model is a busted flush now.

I really see Moyes getting run out of the club in the end, tbh. It'll get worse on the pitch and he'll pay the price.

I've not "quickly edited" anything as I've not needed to edit anything.

So don't try implying I've written something I've not.

I wan't the only one to think Davek had overstepped the mark when he said "Moyes would have to be on drugs not to consider going to the mighty Villa".

And I don't appreciate you trying to make out I've written something I haven't.

Davek is a ted. The end.
