What would be good if its the first stage of a full take over and a full clean sweep.
Some MSP people on the board for 12 months, work with Bill and he can explain Everton to them, tell them about Dave Hickson....etc
Then when the ground is done they fully take over, buy Farhad out and they run everything and all the old guard move on.
You are becoming a parody of yourself. Whoever you are.

Mate, maybe if we were the only club available but when LFC, United and Spurs are available for the right price, the Gulf-Arabs always go for the most expensive and flashy ones.
Like Man City and the barcodes. Sadly though the drawbridge has been pulled up to an extent with profit and sustainability. A sports investment company made get be the way to go now

If your wanting a % return in your investment you invest or buy us. But when you have the money some of these state backed investors have, I’m not sure how much extra you get for investing in a scab six club I know there is a feeling the market is not close to being saturated now in terms of potential TV revenue, or there is the prospect of the Super-league, but I don’t see a super league happening because of the fear of being binned by the PL and expelled from UEFA (if they have the balls) so something would have to fundamentally change for a Saudi/Qatari/UAE type investment. The other reason of course, is that the club is can earn a little more for them in income but they are mainly being used as vehicles to market and drive more domestic investment. It’s an awful lot of money though just to ‘sportswash’ even for them.

Is it? They don't really have a socialist outlook. As long as there is enough for their lifetime I doubt the give a flying one about wasting money.
What would be the point though? It could be a vanity exercise, but I just just can’t wrap my head around that regardless of how much money someone has and they are not stupid - for the recent World Cup, FIFA come under a lot of criticism for awarding the World Cup there, and during construction etc Qatar come under a lot of criticism. If anything recent events have just highlighted their appalling human rights record even more….the very opposite of sports washing.

Ego.

I'd imagine most of the circles they move in have similar issues, but they've delivered a world cup. The first in the Islamic world no less.
