They are saying they wont allow more debt to be taken on. That is different to opposing a buyout

Way I look at it, this is a positive. I want super wealth owners, not owners who will run us to make a profit. Hopefully the Qataris who are buying United pivot to us now….

FYI This headline is VERY misleading. From the actual article:

"That may well be true but the club will now not be getting any from MSP. But the U.S. group is proceeding with the £100million loan to the stadium company, although this is now just a straightforward loan and not convertible debt.

This should enable Moshiri to repay the £40million he borrowed from English businessman Andy Bell in May which was always intended to act as a bridging loan for the larger MSP investment."

In other words MSP IS indeed giving a 100million loan, but it will just be a straight loan instead of having the ability to convert it into equity. The 25% stake is off the table.

Ok.. that’s the good news…
Somewhat worrying news is that Rights&Media have such power over our future. Who are they? Who own a them? Where does the money come from?
And if they can veto MSP, don’t we need the thin end of £250m more to complete the stadium (correct me if I’m wrong). Where on earth will that come from ??
