This is a fantastic deal for Everton. Looked a player this lad at the World Cup and for 4million, unheard of in this market.

Also, anyone else get on to the class that is our manager again:
" first I would like to thank Ferencváros for the way in which they have approached the negotiations. They have been very understanding at this point and we have enjoyed a good working relationship."

Charming the kncikers off the selling club as well. Leaves everyone he meets with a good feeling about Everton, top top manager and fella.

He's signed and will travel, but won't be officially "unveiled" until they get back.

Either way, it's finally done lids :)

Unlikely to be honest mate, i was always told the issue was with payments and it seems we've sorted that now.

I think he's signed and we're literally just waiting for Roberto etc to get back so he can do the sit down interview with him like he did with Barry etc, Also more of a media thing for the signing.

he hasn't signed , if he was hed play .
obviously its all agreed but something is holding up the paperwork being completed.

Not really, you don't have to be signed to play. You can trial for another club whilst being under contract elsewhere. Maybe Fenceravos have said don't play him until it's done as we don't want to risk injury and lose money?

Otherwise, he could play providing Fen said its fine.

Roberto Martinez is looking forward to presenting Muhamed Besic as an Everton player when the team return from Thailand next week.

The Blues jetted out to Bangkok on Thursday afternoon ahead of Sunday’s friendly with Premier League newcomers Leicester City at the Supachalasai Stadium.

21-year-old Bosnian international Besic has travelled with the squad to Bangkok but will not feature in the game as he continues to build up his fitness levels following his return from this summer’s World Cup.

Martinez said: “The next few days will allow Mo to meet the players, but more importantly it is an opportunity for him to get into optimum condition ahead of the new season.

“I am looking forward to introducing him to the Everton fans when we come back but first I would like to thank Ferencváros for the way in which they have approached the negotiations. They have been very understanding at this point and we have enjoyed a good working relationship.”

Martinez, meanwhile, takes a squad of 22 players to the Thai capital as he continues with his pre-season preparations.

Ross Barkley is in the travelling party for the first time since returning from his summer break following his trip to Brazil with England and there are opportunities for youngsters John Lundstram, Hallam Hope, Chris Long, Tyias Browning, Conor McAleny, Jindrich Stanek, Luke Garbutt and Matthew Kennedy.

He's ours. Roberto is looking forward to unveiling him as an everton player to the fans next week.
You're always so positive. Good on you, @bluegirl. I, for one, think this signing will go through completely, and that Roberto's addressed a need which is cover for McCarthy and Barry, and maybe even thinks he can slot in on the back line from time to time. I actually think we need this signing more than a top-shelf striker, because the defensive midfield is so crucial to us. When McCarthy or Barry was out, it was crazy in the midfield, in a bad way.
