besic found his way into a dream of mine last night. was playing 7v7 in my backyard with besic playing attacking mid. scored a few goals and even in my dreams he didnt even smile once. GET IN

Loads of people are saying he's still an unknown and some are taking the mick out of us for raving about his potential. When you add up the 3 games at the World Cup and the time he's played for Everton in friendlies you're talking about over 6 hours of football. Surely it's enough to start to get a rough idea of his talent. If you've not seen these games then either watch them or just trust us: he's already very, very good, and if he improves he is going to be incredible.
Prediction: Blues will be talking about him in the same sentence as Barkley, Stones and Lukaku by the end of the season i.e. our developing young players with world class potential.

They may even be rating him as a 30m player

Besic has good vision, great passing and brilliant close control. He could probably play the role. Only question is his shooting and also, he'd probably find it hard to be disciplined enough to play the role and resist the urge to track back and get stuck into everything.

Think Besic is young enough to adapt to anywhere in midfield, but there's no doubt that he'll be a far better defensive mid. CCF is right though, Barry's a bad comparison -- 11 years older, slow, doesn't possess Besic's dribbling ability.

How come, mate? Besic played centre-back for Ferencvaros and has played defensive mid for Bosnia. He has never played in an attacking role, neither has Barry. Watching him during the friendlies he sat very deep and looked comfortable there.
