Personally I'd impose a draconian fine anybody from Messi down who ever back healed a ball, even if it does come off...and triple the fine if it didn't come off.

DCL, had 3 choices, keep it / run with it, pass it long in front of both Besic and Kompany who was committed to coming forward = besic was the favourite.
Or short.
He went short AND under hit it...it was all downhill then, Besic tried to salvage it, even if it had come off, DCL was offside(?)

Dunno how people can write him off, he's had a number of standout performances for us in his limited opportunities here. Just been unlucky with injuries or Martinez dropping him for no apparent reason.

As a midfielder I just don't know what he does , what his role is supposed to be or what his strengths are.

I like the fact that he's psyched up when he comes on Neil.

He's identified the other teams snide player and makes sure he " does " them pretty soon after he comes on.

Always good for a yellow.
