Mutu

Christie got done for Nandrolone at some small event in the twilight of his career.

What I didn't know that he also failed a test at the 1988 Seoul Olympics but it was overturned.

The sad thing is the doubt it inserts into peoples mind. Lance Armstrong for instance should probably be celebrated as one of the greatest athletes ever. But during his career he beat Pantani, Ullrich, Basso, Virenque, Hamilton, Landis, Mayo, Vino, Rasmussen et al on a regular basis, and all of the above have been banned for doping at various times.

I have been thinking about this for some time. I think Mutu should have been banned for life. It may seem a bit harsh to you, but if I got done for doing drugs (even something like codeine, which is only available by prescription here, but available OTC in many other countries, including Canada) I would be kicked out of the Navy on a dishonorable discharge under the Navy's zero tolerance stance. I wouldn't be able to get a job at Wal-Mart or McDonalds or any company that has any government contract.

Nowadays you can't even get a job at the local supermarket if you fail a dugs test. This Mutu thing is yet one more example of completely different rules for the famous folk. I think that when Juventus picked him up from Chelsea, they basically endorsed recreational drug use and probably should be taken to task over that!

Drugs kill people. People die because of drugs. People are oppressed because of drugs. Why do we still let them in our society? It is a shady business and it does need stopping.

I think its safe to say Mutu will definitely not play in our match. Check out these pictures of the incident. He was lucky it didn't break.

This might explain the lax attitude from Juventus.

Like I said before, they were up to their eyeballs in the stuff. Reading about Marco Pantani it does appear to be quite endemic in Italy.

its a big political and social debate dylan, alcohol and tobacco kill more than all the illegal drugs put together. wander into any town centre on a weekend evening and there will be fisticuffs somewhere, and its not due to the parties concerned having smoked too much dope (cannabis).

please dont misunderstand, heroin, cocaine, crack, barbiturates, certain veterinary substances, and a host of hallucinogenics are very powerful drugs, the problem is that their illegality prevents any form of understanding and education for the masses as the production and distribution is controlled by very shady and often malevolent individuals. recreational drugs have no place in the workplace nor behind the wheel of a car, but the consumption of illegal drugs doesnt automatically make a person a murderous maniac that has lost all control. like i said above its a very large issue.

Yeah so anyway, about Mutu. I think he's a good player and will be missed by fiorentina definitely a big bonus for us as he was voted player of the season last 06-07 for Fiorentina and player of the season for all of the league by a italian newspaper I'll find the link later.

I think we'll do Fiorentina at their own place without mutu I reckon they'll be a bit toothless.

And their replacement, Christian Vieri is way past his best now, lacks mobility and always seems flat footed, hopefully he'll maintain those standards when we play them.

Vieri might be getting on a bit but still deadly finisher so have too hope joleon keeps him wrapped up, watched there game yesterday aswell and there right winger looked there best player cant remember his name now.

No just checked there squad, was michele pazienza 25 year old attacking midfielder, they signed him in january from Napoli for 3.3 million, Looked there best player too me he was playing on the right. Nothing lescott cant deal with though.
