Great story Dylan. My little girl (2 1/2), can't yet write, or draw for that matter. But if you were to play a RHCP, Foo Fighters, Green Day, AC/DC, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Ozzy Osbourne, Powder Finger, Op Shop (kiwi group), or a number of other bands, she would be able to tell you who it is with the first couple of bars of the music!! She has been able to count up to 20 (and down from 10 to 0) and known her alphabet (both visually and doing the song blah blah) since before she was 2.
We haven't got her signing, but if things carry on, she may well have to, as my little boy (10 weeks old), needs to go to an audiologist to check his hearing - fingers crossed and all that (but it's no the end of the world if he is in some way deaf).
Anyway, like I say great story, and keep up the great parenting!
