My Summer Project is nearly complete on the outside bar a bit more oiling and the application of the colour coat. What was a wornout shed with a worn out roof and floor now looking well in the Summer Sun. Not quite up to a @chrismpw build but not a bad effort. I should have it complete for Fathers Day (this Sunday).

However, we cannot decide on a name for it. Obviously Kevin Shedy and Garden Roomey have been considered from my POV and SheddyMcShedface and My Gin Palace have been suggested by Mrs P but lets hear your fantastic, creative efforts please. Keep me amused until I hear Bills Death Knell.
Looks 👍

What roof do you have? I'm building a new shed this summer and I'm going to put one of the rubber ones on... They last 50+ years apparently.

That wall looks pretty close to the back wall... you don't want the timber rotting due to damp.

Is there a gutter there? You could get a water tank installed and collect water for your garden, there's a lot of roof area so you'll collect a lot.

Its a torch on felt roof. The shed has a 18inch - 2ft gap at the back and side. Its in its original position where its stood for nearly 30 years and the sides were in good condition. The roof and floor weren’t.

There was a water butt in place from the gutter. The plan os to install it at the back left corner so it can water the veg garden immediately beside it.

I’ve also a huge wooden sleeper that I’d like to get cut into half to make a mich wider bartop, depending on what the wood looks like within. Some things you find chucked out are amazing.

With the price of timber it's well worth scavenging bits here and there.

I'm thinking of sinking a grid of breeze blocks into holes with a bit of concrete, then building the floor of mine onto that (with a DPM between). Running a course of bricks round the outside with some ventilation. Keeps the pests out but should keep the floor in good condition for years to come.

Needs a Mishmash in there...

Urinate into a milk carton over a few days - then distribution every night at least twice to keep pets off your lawn.....
I0 year old me actually did this to evict an 8 year old neighbour who built his den too close to mine across the fence. It was delivered using an old car exhaust pipe (Kids played with this sort if thing in the 1970s.) Surprisingly effective biochemical warfare.
