This is the trouble with running a forum. I help run one myself so know how difficult it is to keep all members happy.
Its all good and well the staff having a laugh and having a good spirit, but members need to realise whats crossing the line and have enough respect for the people who run this site, instead of openly questioning their decisions.
Surley staff are put in place and they know best? what people are forgetting here is alot of stuff goes on behind scenes and not just really posted on the boards, staff come as a team not one individual so when members go out their way to go against maybe a member of staff that isnt so 'important' then thats wrong.
You get so much hassel and you've got to think these are the people who made the site happen, they make the rules, they make the decisions, just get on with it for gods sake instead of bickering lol.

Some people just need to grow up but unfortunatly thats unlikely to happen.
You're always going to get [Poor language removed] on messageboards. People will; argue, people will hold grudges, people will throw insults, people will act like hypocrites.
Best thing to do is for all the mature sensible members to rise above it. Realise that debates will get heated and some people wont get on. But you just have to co-exist instead of acting like a little kid.
Think before you post. Dont act like an idiot then whine when someone else does.

I do not want this forum to become some sort of bitch fest like other forums I've seen and heard about.
I've got no problem with people airing their opinions, that's what this forum is for.
But when people start having a go at someone just for the sake of having a go rather than debating the merits of a thread, post, opinion, etc..., then that's when the mods need to step in and sort things out.
And Death, you're right that there's always gonna be a certain amount of crap on message boards. The good news is that our mods don't put up with it like some other places and keep this place a friendly atmosphere for the most part and make everyone feel welcome. A new poster on day one will feel just as much a part of GOT as someone who has 3000 posts.
I may have a disagreement with poster and have my say but I'm not gonna lay into 'em and start name calling or insulting them. Why? Cause they're a fellow Blue, pure and simple.
