Good signing. It's a shame we couldn't have kept Digne as well. Then we could have had Digne and Coleman with Mykolenko and Patterson being eased in, ready to be first choice next season.

Which would be absolutely ideal.

You can bank against future sales of players, it's sensible business.

Unfortunately Benitez will never ever play Digne again so it's get what we can. We have no power though.

Got you. I doubt it though given Benitez's love for Townsend (and Townsend is a winger and this lad is a RB, it's better to just play players in their actual positions).

Patterson's going to need time. 27 senior club games under his belt isn't much.
