From Lampard’s comments since he’s been here it’s clear he won’t be getting any game time this season. He has indicated over and over he’s not ready.
They will wait for pre-season with him with and judge then if he’s up to it.

One that could see us go down. Our recruitment is appalling. Who spends good money on a player in a position we desperately needed a couple of seasons ago and he doesn’t even make the bench some games never mind the starting 11. Only we could do such a thing.
