I also think he doesn’t watch much footy either and just makes it up as he goes along.

So far, he’s got it in for Patterson, DCL, Pickford and that poor lad from Hull, who is a long way off from signing.

The flaw in your argument is you are assuming they won't shift TAA to a different position where he can still utilise his attacking skills without having his defensive skills exposed.

As far as I'm concerned the pair of them are in the hopeful punt category: two young players with a handful of games each in a poor league.

But Liverpool have got nearer the realistic value for such a player while Everton were mugged for £16M.

It's unforgivable that they are more realistic than a club like us on players like this. It beggars belief how far we've drifted from our moorings. Moyes would have offered rangers half a million and made them sweat on him going back in with a £1M final offer. THAT is how you approach negotiations with teams up there.
