Not cutting it? What a ridiculous comment with absolutely no evidence to back it up. Coleman took ages to break into the first team even when Hibbert was playing garbage. When Moyes started to introduce him it was on right side of midfield ahead of Hibbert so that any defensive mistakes by Seamus could be covered. This is a guy who turned out to be one our best signings ever, and yet you think because Patterson hasn't been thrown straight in, and into a struggling team in front of a toxic crowd, you say he's not cutting it? Give your head a wobble

Excellent first half. Great pace and movement in the final third, pleasantly surprised by his reading of the game defensively too. Its u23s of course but can certainly see why he's rated so highly.

£60K was paid for Coleman - he was a punt.

Patterson was supposed to solve the RB problem. He cant even get a game.
