You’re a tadger mate. Young player comes in to a side that is playing a new system, and you write him off. Coleman, who you’re calling for, was a shocking defender when he came. Give Patterson time.
Coleman is the better option as things stand right now. We can ill afford to have a young lad bedding in for his first full season of professional football in a much tougher league than anything he’s been used to. He needs a season out on loan and we need a rb ready for premier league action with Coleman as back up. I’d try and sign aurier on a short contract and not offer him ridiculous wages but the issue with that would be how fit he would be.

Caricature. If you read any of this thread you'll see what I've said about him as balanced - he offers something going forward but NOTHING defensively.

Not at the races down here in that respect - maybe up in that ale house league of yours.
Incorrect again my little ignorant friend. I’m English. You simply get everything wrong!?

Was exposed a couple of times with balls over the top. Needs someone to talk him through a few games until he is more experienced. Linked up well with McNeil a times which is encouraging.

….would benefit from Coady or Tarkowski on the right of a three, one very poor piece of defending nearly cost us but still plenty of promise there.

Patterson unfortunately isn't up to it yet, can't afford to give him time to settle, getting caught out too often

Yes it'd be far better to not pair him with Holgate, even Coleman as the 3rd centre half would help him.
The lad has cost us with defensive frailities two weeks in a row.

TBH I dont think he can focus for 90 minutes.

Frank should have hooked him by the 70th minute at the latest, got Coleman on and shut up shop
