He was injured for most of the time that lampard didn't pick him. He's gonna be at least a good pick up for us and could end up being a great one.

One thing Patterson does that resembles Coleman is that drop of the shoulder turn and explodes forward. Coleman obviosuly got that from his Gaelic football days but Patterson does it so well too.

The young lad has so much potential. Still raw but i think we have an amazing prospect on our hands and a great model for him in Seamus to learn from.

Fraud? What an odd comment.

Had some poor moments today but also handled Salah very well on occasions, as he did at Anfield.

Patterson was immense today. Our best outfield player, just edged out by Pickford for MOTM.

As I said: you need to learn to appreciate a player who has been our best RB for a good decade or so and has handed his all in for this club. If Patterson does a third of what Coleman's done then he'll have had a good career here.

The myth that he can’t play in a 4 has stemmed from one poster with an agenda who wouldn’t give him credit when he was playing well purely because it weren’t in a 4.
