It's the angle from that particular poster. Coleman has done zero wrong and its jumped on. If someone supports a team that sings of dancing in the blood of Irishmen like Coleman it’s not rocket science to see there's an agenda out there.

By comparison I've always said Patterson is a decent prospect that we paid a high price for. He has huge talent in there but makes mistakes at critical points. That's all. Until Patterson matures we're lucky to have Seamus who, overall, is the much better player in my view (and one of most of my mates).
Patterson for this team is better than Coleman; that’s just a fact.

Leave your paranoia at the door

So is this you basically just admitting that you hate Patterson because he used to play for Rangers whose fans sing mean songs?

Not in the slightest. I was.pointing out the irony of Sevco fans accusing others of being sectarian. This is ridiculous. I've never said a bad word against this kid. I've no doubts he'll end up as a decent Premier League player like Earl Barrett or Steve Watson. I'm just saying he hasn't yet shown anything remotely enough to justify usurping the place of a true club legend and the second best right back in our history. Just have some respect please.

Which “Sevco fans”? This is an Everton forum.

Regarding Coleman, he is currently 34 and at this present moment in time is a far worse player than Earl Barrett or Steve Watson.
