They can, but not with this setup and coach honestly. They actually vibe and play off eachother well, but the rest of the team is barely functional around them.
We have maybe 1 of those on a good day and STILL Dwight "2 ppg" Powell on the court as we have no one better. Horrendous recruitment, proper Everton.
I just think it's so predictable it all fell apart when he joined. He's sporting cancer.
He is but so are the Mavs currently, and it pains me. We don't do logical (re)building, we just hurl it at the next big thing/name, and it's not worked ever. All the teams around us traded well for pieces they need mostly (unless tanking obvs) but we went for Kyrie and players that obviously don't fit. Classic.

I'm not sure they can't play together, but the trade got rid of vital pieces and now the team has no identity on defense and is learning chemistry on offense. Overall, it's subtraction by addition and I don't think it will work. But if they make the playoffs they can definitely win a series--Luka and Kyrie are both elite scorers and they will be hard to stop when they want to score, but overall the team is terribly flawed in construction and Cuban is to blame for hiring a sneaker pimp to act as GM.
And now I'm embarrassed that I tweeted @mcuban to buy Everton (although this would still be a net for EFC, a new owner bump so to speak) because he makes the same sort of mistake that Moshiri makes, although Mark is slightly more competent.

They said loads of players were injured/needed a rest and then only played Doncic for 12 minutes in the first quarter and benched him for the rest of the game. Kidd has basically said they were tanking without actually saying they were.
They tanked the shabite out of it.
Just a hunch but I don’t think the Lakers are going to be a top 6 seed…
