So two of the last four coaches to win championships are now on the market while Mark Cuban keeps the jobs for the boys train running with Jason Kidd as coach and tries to make it work with Kyrie Irving aka Sports Kanye. I'll pretend to be shocked when Luka demands a trade.
no accomplished coach is gonna touch that jerb until they get a respectable bench and starting 5.

Half time shows in American sports are just mind boggling to me.
Suns losing by 30 points already at half-time in deciding game and they still proceed with some kind of concert at half-time, Phoenix crowd of course dead silent, i mean who could blame them.

Anyway good for Jokic, would love for him and Denver to win it all

I will be very surprised if we beat the Nuggets next up but what a series. Still don't really understand how Lebron is so good at his age. AD is a beast. And the "supporting cast" of Russell, Reaves, Schroder, Walker etc have really stepped up. To go from starting 2-10 to this in unbelievable. Maybe if everyone stays fit we have a chance

I don’t think the Lakers are good enough I just think they’ve played the two weakest teams in the West. I’ve been wrong before though.
Generally I think Denver-LA is going to be similar to GS-LA w/ the majority of the games being blowouts. Just dunno who is gonna be on the receiving end of more of them.

3pt shooting has turned the playoffs into if you aren't hitting them good night.

Same with Stanley Cup, a lot of close series populated by blowouts

It's made the whole sport rather boring to watch. And I think it's also why so many teams have average won-loss records. Everyone shoots way too many threes and anyone can get beat by anyone else if you aren't hitting them.

NBA is better these days. The 90s were just dreadful. 78-72 finals games, I don't want to go back to that. Right now the talent is off the charts good, you watch college and everything just clangs off the rim. The 3pt shot is too easy, move it back, make the corners really even closer to the sideline.

I know nothing about basketball but I was rooting for the sixers because Maxie reminds me of Moise Kean a little bit

I’m there with you. Today’s players are fantastic but I think the game misses having real post players and the tension of those 90s playoff series.
Those Knicks/Bulls series were so good back in the day.
No real post players? Like the last few MVPs (and the runner ups) or are we moving the definition for some reason here?

I'm with @Rook about some things - a lot of scoring, a lot more dynamism and movement, less people just being physical bullies. Mad shouts about 3 point shots as well - teams lived and died by the mid-range jump shot back in the day, which is the same, but the few feet it's moved back just means more points. Someone did the analysis last year because of the same argument and it meant that instead of the average game during the season being 112-108 or something similar it was back to just under 100 either side.

Refs are atrocious though, I'll give you that.

Also as a side note - I'm so, so happy that GS are out - hopefully Draymond does one and goes to a non-GS team so people can see that he should be averaging a tech per game, the big tit.
