Not a basketball fan in the sense that i can't watch a game, just think its rather boring until 5 minutes to go.

I will check the scores and standings every so often and tonight i came across The Rockets 159 / Wizards 158....... Crikey ! Not too often you see this kind of scoring from both teams in the same game. Those in attendance got their moneys worth tonight thats for sure. Beal and Harden going at it.

Postgame Harden said it was the defense that separated them lol

But watching basketball is a lot like watching the soccer--watch the flow, the individual battles, the adjustments, these help enjoy the game.

I think the Lakers will implode and I just can’t believe in a world where the Clippers are in the NBA finals.

Why on earth would the Lakers implode or is it just what you would like to see? I'm going to venture it's the latter.

Nah, I don’t have strong feelings towards the Lakers per se. Their team is so top-heavy and lacks balance. Will see if LeBron and AD can stay healthy and motivated

Fair enough. I'm a life long lakers fan, but not really a Lebron fan. That said, I don't see them imploding. I just don't think they have the personalities to do it. They can easily be beaten by another team, jusy don't see an implosion as a reason for failure.

I'm ready to see them implode, FWIW, but they'll make the playoffs. I don't think they're built for a run, but who knows what to expect.
