I feel like I have 2 ways to lose this season. I'm a Lakers fan (and have been since Shaq signed because I was initially a Shaq fan) but I'm also Greek. So if the Lakers win then great. If we were to lose then I want it to be to the Bucks.

Guess I've been conditioned by being an Everton fan to just expect the worst and then a little bit more

Used to be proper into the NBA back in the mid to late 90's

The Last Dance has definitely reawakened my interest, keen to get involved again.

Kinda hard to drop in and pick things up now though, when I've got minimal idea of who's who etc. Plus so far as I can tell, my Bulls are awful :(

Yep, just like you, wasn't much of a Bulls fan in the 80s, but MJ turned me into a Bulls fan (I'm a Chicagoan) yet after the 98 season I was only a sporadic fan (but I had high high hopes for Derek Rose). I just finished The Last Dance, and man did it bring me back. Was in Chicago for many of the championships...crazy fun scenes of all-out street fests. I also had a memorable moment of watching the Bulls clinch the title against Phoenix at a little hotel on the Artic Circle during the summer solstice; amazing game and we stayed up all night partying because, of course, the sun never set that day. I'll still support the Bulls, but I do like Golden State because of Steve Kerr. I think Phil Jackson is the greatest coach in the history of the game...(not to state the obvious).

Big fan of Steve Kerr. More from outside of basketball than anything else. Heard him on Pod Save America a couple of times. Seems like a really good guy, with his head screwed on right.

Yeah, wasn't too familiar with his background when I was watching him play for the Bulls, but upon watching The Last Dance I had read the wikipedia page on his dad...very tragic, but certainly an interesting fellow. Steve Kerr seems like a good guy all-around.

The Wizards are going to finish w/ a worse record than the Bulls and Charlotte who aren't even in the bubble.

Doncic went beast mode last night, could have had about 30+ if the rest of the team hadn't been throwing bricks all night

Watched The Last Dance. Outstanding background into how MJ , and the Dream Team in 92 to a lesser degree, expanded the NBA worldwide

I enjoyed it but you've got to remember that it was produced by MJ's own production company and that several people featured in the documentary have come out and said it was very biased and one sided account of things.

I had read about all the bias and folks who disagreed with the series and frankly I was prepared for a lot more bias/michael-worship, but it didn't have as much as I expected. For example, Pippen comes off like a true competitor (except for his misstep in game 3 of the 94 conference finals) but apparently he was pretty livid with the series. Certainly, the whole series was Jordan-centric, but the whole Bulls organization and indeed the NBA was pretty Jordan-centric during the mid-90s. I do wish they interviewed Longley...would love to see his take. Hodges as well. And Kukoc and Wennington deserved more screen-time as well.

I fear for Zion's longevity right now. I hadn't seen him in a while and he's carrying a lot of poundage. For an athlete that explosive that will wear down quickly.

For many people (outside of the US), Jordan was the NBA. Millions of people wouldn't even watch or play if it wasn't for him. I don't think anyone can begrudge it being Jordan-centric, despite how good the rest of the players on his team where, and how much they contributed to the dynasty.

He walks like Garrincha. Pelicans should treat the next 3-5 years as he's peak years.
