Even average shooting would mean an 18 point swing in the bucks favour. Like I said 50% is colossal from 40 attempts.. must be near a record. I can't see it happening again.
Bucks shot 44% in G1 and Phoenix 32%. Suns still won. For the series so far Bucks are shooting threes better compared to their season average, and still 2-0 down. Can't see a regression to mean helping them much.

Suns shooting 50% from 3pt range won't happen again likewise the Bucks shooting 29% won't happen again.. in my opinion the Suns are lucky to be going to Milwaukee 2-0.
Yup. Tough night shooting from Holiday and Middleton too. Might be worth keeping the bigger lineup in for longer stretches

The Sun's are a great story. An organization that until last year was a bottom feeder. Devin Booker was just one of those guys who put up big stats on bad team and Ayton was a sorta a bust because he wasn't Luca.

Insert a vet like Chris Paul and it all comes together sorta. For me they are all three Robins lacking a Batman.

Gianiss Is an injured Batman with couple of Robins. Middleton and Holliday. Lopez isn't half bad either.

I am rooting for the Sun's but have zero confidence unless CP3 goes nuts or Booker lives up to the hype.

I think Booker is the real deal, but having CP3 has pushed them into a real team. In my (over)simplified formula, you need two NBA HOF on your team to win a title, and one of them should be an elite HOF. Suns have 2 and Bucks have only 1.

The US Olympic team is making it look like basketball may not be coming home this summer. 0-2 against Australia and Nigeria. Sheesh.

Oz won by being aggressive in that second half. Paddy Mills didn't shoot particularly well but he was so aggressive both ways. TBF to the US squad they are intentionally playing a preseason against good competition to try to find some sort of chemistry. Most of the players haven't played together much, if all. It doesn't help that 3 players are currently playing in the NBA finals.

The world has been catching up quickly. We might have to Dream Team again because we have some bang average players now playing for country...at best a B team.

It's definitely not the strongest team. In fact you can probably make the case the guys who aren't there would make a better team than those who are. Still this feels like a possible wake up call again like 2004 was. Same timeline too with it being 3 straight golds and then slipping.

From tonight's squad we have two players that can create there own shot consistently...Durant and Lillard. Never rated Beal much. Stat stuffer on bad teams. Getting easy dunks/layups were so much easier for Oz with better chemistry.

They’ll still win it once pop settles on a rotation and stops giving mediocre guys like Levine minutes. Let KD and Lillard have the ball and we’re fine.

The style of basketball the international teams play is so much more watchable than what the NBA has become.

Hopefully the NBA really commits to not letting players flop and draw fouls as their primary style of offense. The Finals have been relatively refreshing because there isn't a Trae Young or Harden.
