It is always interesting to read the views of the supporters of the selling club and the general consensus is that they are sad to see him go. A very hard working player who has scored some a lot of important goals for them
 
Sorry people I don't feel great about this. I feel very uninspired by our new attacking signings overall. They are a step down from Richarlison and confirm we will probably be fighting relegation this season. After all the progress made by Moyes and then having £500 million to spend we are back to fighting relegation again. Unbelievable really.

I pray I'm wrong but a 26 year old who scores 8 a season at best? Is he just cheap backup and the main striker is coming? If that's the case then okay. Rondon should be let go as he doesn't really offer anything and I'd rather a youngster plays.

Where are the goals coming from?!
 

He seems to go in for the finger to the lips method of celebrating which I don't like. Nevertheless, he comes across well in interview and is a determined type.

DCL is the main striker. Everyone knows this. If Maupay gives us 8-10 a season well that's Richarlison level of goals so that'll do nicely.

Duncan Ferguson regularly scored about nine goals a season and he was regarded as a hero.

So just to confirm, you’ve decided we’re going to be in a relegation battle because we’ve signed a backup striker who played 32 league games for a team that finished 9th ?

If Lampard can improve his finishing he’ll be a good signing, if not (more likely) he will be the modern Tomasz Radzinski

Sounds a bit like Richarlison in that regard: maybe his output on paper doesn't stand out to other teams fans but when he's yours you see the whole picture and appreciate him more.
