But i still look at us as much as him. The balance of the Everton squad going right back to Ronald Koeman has been awful. Its like the club have done zero due diligence when looking to recruit.

Yeah absolutely. I think at Brighton he had one of the lowest conversion rates when measure against xG. Meaning it took him loads of chances to get goals. The thing is Brighton created a lot of chances, so this made his goal tally look alright.

He moved to a club that is one of the lowest in terms of chances created. It was inevitable that this would be the outcome.

Lets go with what we’ve got up top
Why waste any more money on someone who could score lots of goals?
We already have the firepower and the ammunition for our midfield to supply.
And we have Keano back to shore up the backline
A solid spine to the team with Keano, Gueye and Maupay.

You're spot on, this is it in a nutshell. His Xg over 3 seasons at Brighton is embarrassing.

Who needs goals when we've got Jordan? This will be like the season we finished 4th and got pushed out the champs League after winning every match 1-0
 
Making a total mess of transfers and in in particular getting a striker (still and again) so send Keane out to tell everyone how great Maupay is. Everton (Bill) millionth repeat performance.

Absolutely woeful striker no matter how fit he is.

Personally wouldn't say he's woeful.

Completely the wrong fit for a hold up hoofball player though. In that respect he is.
