There’d be 18 pages of bile for Dom if he didn’t score there.
His lack of game time and the rest of his performance has probably give him a bit of grace, that and what we have had upfront for the rest of the season so far.
I thought he did well, worked hard and gave us a focal point, also made the gap between Iwobi and their defence bigger by occupying the defenders.
He won’t score loads, but he makes us better than we were before we signed him. Same can be said for all our signings this last window.
Oh I wasn’t necessarily digging at him there; strikers miss chances. More highlighting the ridiculous vendetta some on here have for Dom. They’re awfully quiet when another player misses a great chance.
I honestly think he will take some pressure of Dom. If he plays like that we can ease Dom in to get his fitness back and confidence too.Oh I wasn’t necessarily digging at him there; strikers miss chances. He’s the typical Everton striker that I grew up watching . Works hard but can’t finish .
….interested to know his post-match thoughts.
Exactly rondon standing still is like a chess piece don’t move it nothing happens, moving about creates space and takes players out of place and brings others into the game. Would love to see what out results could of been from the start of the season with him in the side.I thought he worked very hard and was a thorn in their side all game. I think the telling part was we probably had more shots than any other game this season and that is because he created space for others.
