Well if Beto got injured we’d be knackered regardless of if we kept Maupay or not. If we get multiple injuries in any one position we’d be knackered regardless, you can’t have a squad of 40 players. Maupay is actual deadwood, he was never an option.

How anybody thinks letting him go out on loan on deadline day with no replacement is a good move is beyond me.

Literally any body upfront is as good as him I’d be happy if Dobbin was that player

Oh and Maupay would have been the solution in thar scenario?

I joke of course and ideally we'd have another decent striking option, but Ideally we would also have a couple of new fullbacks, a centre back and bolster the midfield,....
