Hopefully he has a blinder for them, scores 15 goals, gets them into Europe and they happily part with £20m to keep him...then I woke up.

Excellent to get him off the wage bill.

He's one player who doesn't need replacing because he's an absolute waste of a shirt when he is picked.

We could stick a traffic cone on be bench and it would be more useful.

Not arsed if he goes on to bang in 10+ for Brentford, fact is he looked like he would go another 30 odd games without slotting one in for us

Beto, DCL, Chermitti

One new to the league, one who is injured a lot, one who is both new to the league AND really young

Fine with Maupay going, but our striking options are hardly plentiful

Selling Cannon, Maupay and Gray in one window is...questionable a tad IMO

The manager was playing Danjuma up front ahead of Maupay. He is not an option and would be simply a drain on resources.

100%.
Throw in Simms and Iwobi and we've removed attacking 'options' no matter how highly rated or not we think they are.
I get Dyche not rating them so they are a waste of resource but we need to bring in players to replace by midnight.
If that ends up being only one of Gnonto/Sinnestere/Summerville/Cornet then we are leaving ourselves short.

Yes I also think Dobbin isn’t up for the premier league but still I can be more patient with him than suffering watching maupay for however many more games.
That's fair enough. I'm not arguing that Maupay is the answer. I don't think he's very good. I just don't think letting him go on loan without a replacement when we need players in is a good move and he definitely looked a bit better playing with Beto than he has in any of his previous appearances.

Are perople actually worried about lack of goals if he goes. I'm confused

I'm potentially worried about squad depth

Fine with him leaving, but if Beto gets injured right now then we're back into the frying pan with a DCL who struggles for fitness and a young Chermitti who hasn't had the best of starts

I personally would have kept Cannon if we were booting Maupay (and not bought Chermitti if I'm being honest. No real need to buy him if we already had Cannon and weren't going to keep Simms)
