Most worrying thing is this is just symptomatic of the disconnect between fans and players that been apparent since probably Martinez’ final season. A weird sense of entitlement creeped into the fanbase with the new money and signings (noticeable in the toxicity of Goodison every week) which has now moved onto a dangerous mix of apathy and anger.
I don’t think Dyche is the one to fix that, genuinely think we need a pound shop Simeone/Klopp, just a proper lunatic who galvanises the whole atmosphere of the club.
