yah i think we need better passes to the strikers. beckford really didnt have any good looks. some cause his touches were a little strong, others cause the passes in were a bit off.
we played great in the back 2/3s of the pitch, but we just mess it up in the box. not necessarily the strikers fault

I dont think so, its an impossable task playing for us up front, 1 V 2 centre halves. The only one who has porven he can do it consistently is the Yak.

Anyway seems to me that we have a embarrassment of mediocre and/or ailing forwards.
Despite the view that 'its midfield that matters in todays game' ringing a truth, I still think you need fire and inspiration leading the line. We clearly lack that.
Cut the slack and buy some pace and threat. It will galvanize the team and give the midfield something to play to.

And it isn't just the strikers to be fair, the end product from the midfielders has to improve. I can't even remember a clear cut chance Beckford or Saha have had in these last two games.

Cos Im fed up with it to be fair. Can see the season being very average and disappointing again for a number of reasons.
I've said before the season started is that Moyes needs to sort his tactics out and read the games better. Currently hasnt done so.
Only time I've seen us do that was when we first signed Yak and he was slotting home anything in the box.

He's produced a few excellent finishes in his limited opportunities up front, if Vic was running on the shoulder of defenders and getting service he would score goals, And he has the pace & power to breeze past defenders to get in goalscoring positions.

I think the strikers are fine. Moyes either needs to play two of them, or the MF needs to support the lone striker more. Beckford had some nice touches and turns, but as is pointed out before, most of them were so far from the box, with no one else around, they were wasted.
