Dell Boy

Player Valuation: £35m
Compared to many on here I am very new to internet message boards. I try and follow an approach that what I post on here I'd happily say down the pub. It strikes me that if some on here carried on in a pub or with their family like they post on GOT - after a while - their mates, family would ask "do you actually support Everton?", or "Jesus, find another hobby that's clearly not doing you any good following the blues" or maybe more simply "give it a rest eh?".

There's a recession on. Young lads are out in Afghanistan. The weather is crap but we've got a team playing half decent footy and we're actually going into February with something to play for. Not that it should matter but for the first time in 25 years even the worst of the RS fans admit we're a better team.

I'm not getting into the Kenwright debate but its everything with some fans on here.

Can we lighten up a bit? Almost every thread is polluted with folk ****ging off Moyes or some of the players (never mind the board). The aborted transfer of Fer is a great case in point for some of the warped thinking.

We're a point of Spurs and will hopefully be with them or above at the weekend. That leaves Chelsea whose fans are on the verge of rioting it seems with Benitez, treatment of Lampard etc and then only the global franchise of United and the oil billionnaires of Citeh.

A few years ago we were in a grouping with Villa and Newcastle. Both clubs would happily swap with us tonight.

Can we at least try and enjoy the remainder of the season before no doubt the whole Moyes contract/Kenwrong /Philip Green saga will see the club collapse in a pit of its own making in the summer?!

I don't think it was a point scoring reference at all...... just painting a general picture of all the sh1ttiness that is going on in the world yet we miserable biffs can still find time to moan about Everton when we really don't have too much to moan about. Fantastic OP............... little tip Dellboy ,,, swerve the Everton Forum too much his time of year and get in the Ale house,,,some good lads post in there.

Oh aye OP is making a good point. I just think as a poster you're more likely to moan than to praise, I think he's human nature or something.

good OP mate. Ignore the doom and gloom merchants, nothing you or anybody else says will change their outlook. Either ignore completely or take the piss. Onwards and upwards. COYB. NSNO.

negative, negative , negative Brenners, He is not scoring poitns he is trying to show that compared to some we have very little to bitch about.

I agree too. The club are a pleasure to support nowadays. Of course there are certain things that aren't done right in our eyes and that will always be the case but I am proud that the club are doing so well.

If you don't feel upset enough when things are clearly wrong surely the question is - is it a passion or a pastime, do you care enough?

......."Well, do ya, punk?"
