The show was a pale shadow of it's former self the last while imo. But i'm still sad tbh. What will doctor Karl Kennedy aka Alan Fletcher do now?lol

Fletcher is a big rs and Essendon bombers fan so if i ever met him, i'm sure we'd both get on like a house on fire.lol

But yeah this is sad news. I just kind of took it for granted that Neighbours would be around forever.

I swear they only make this crap for you lot now, don't know a single person that still watches it. Few avid home and away watchers at work though.

I'm not sure about home and away, but whenever an actor/actress from neighbours is interviewed over here, they always mention how no one knows who they are in Australia.

So if it wasn't for the uk/irish viewership, then neighbours would probably have been cancelled years ago.

I would agree to disagree. I always considered it to be better than home and away, and no i won't be watching that.

That would be the equivalent of purchasing a season ticket to watch the rs, if Everton ever went bust.

My standout memory of the show was when it was taken off air mid episode for breaking news on 9/11… remember that more clearly than anything else about the show.
