A persistent reminder after every single thread ' click ' really isn't going to make me pay or add got to my Adblock whitelist. This is honest feedback. I know more than most how bad ad networks.

I get that GOT us run on donations, but until a method other than PayPal is available, I can't donate.

Is this a new change?

I would hope this wouldn't include those of us using Flashblock (or some other kind of Flash-blocking software) because we are using work computers. I remember that people previously were mistakenly identified as using Adblock.

@GrandOldTeam don't know if this is due to the server downtime but I'm getting adverts mid thread - this is deeply upsetting please fix it.

I use loads of different computers, all have GOT on the whitelist, but the browser on my home desktop for some reason still thinks adblock is enabled. It's my only Win10 machine, otherwise I don't think there's anything different to the other ones (where adblock is recognised as disabled for GOT).

Tho' reduced functionality might help my returning addiction to this fine forum.

Will pass the Win10 comments to adblock detect and message plugin developer.
