Tbh that list was from top of my head, may have missed some good players off. But you may well be right.

Depends massively on the player in question. £50m for a proven PL player is more justifiable than a young CB from the French league.

Keane probably the best of the bunch I would think.

Keane is the new wave of English centre-backs.

Chambers, Holding, Mawson, Holgate, Adarabioyo, Chalobah, Fry, Tuanzebe, Gomez, Gibson, Konsa, Hause.

Loads.

Ben Gibson's a real solid throwback of a centre half I think.

I'd guess the only ones we would look at would be Mawson, Gibson and possibly Chambers?

Cant say i've seen Keane much but would it be fair to say he's similar to Gary Pallister?

He's taller or the same height as VVD, has 2 seasons of games in him already and is just 20.

Basically someone who on paper should go on to great heights....supposedly available at 15mil.

I dont scout CBs.

I scouted Keane only cos he was coming.

My English players comment is based on the last few England games ive watched, the standard of the players in all age groups was breathtakingly bad.

Smalling and Jones will be available from Utd for a fraction of a VVD.
They aren't the worst, certainly better and more experienced than most of the names being thrown about
