Well this is going well isn't it.
Probably waiting for the group games are over to make time for press reveal... Can you imagine the mad shouts if announcement was made now but incoming is busy with media contract for international tournament. Or maybe just resting up for a few weeks.

Not one person in the media will know that. Easiest job in the world, make stuff up and say my sources tell me. Dave from the Brighton chronicle knows nothing about the inside dealings of the club, even our “local” paper no longer gets any information from the club and rightfully so.
Yeah makes me laugh, one of the forums use Marcus Bent to provide “insider” knowledge. He would say anything for a few quid, my son got him to record a happy birthday message for me for £7.50 (the reason he chose Marcus) and he got that wrong

Everton are continuing to explore candidates to succeed Carlo Ancelotti - with former Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez still under consideration, along with Nuno Espirito Santo.

Nuno, who left Wolves in May, is still favourite to replace Ancelotti.

Discussions are on-going with Everton owner Farhad Moshiri and the rest of the club's hierarchy.

Benitez, however, remains in contention and has also held rounds of talks with Everton.

Absolutely mind-boggling that the best this board can come up with is Nuno and Benitez. I fail to see any of the two of them being Brands' first-choice, that's Moshiri v Kenwright and represents everything wrong with this club.

I cannot support Rafael Benitez as Everton manager.

It represents absolutely nothing because it's all just paper talk!

Stop being fooled by it. There is zero chance that Benitez is in the running. Nuno possibly but he will be one of a large list.

Literally not one journalist has an actual clue what is going on with our manager hunt. Not One single journalist. It's all complete conjecture based on maybe vague hints from people not directly associated with the search. We'll just have to wait and see.
It does all feel like speculation but the likes of the BBC won’t report on it unless they have heard something. When Ancelotti was close to being appointed there were noises in the Italian media. There has been very little in the foreign press about other names supposedly in the frame so it does all point to Nuno or Benitez at the minute. But we wait and see.

I would love Big Ron with that guy whose job he destroyed, Bleasdale (?) as his assistant. We could make a cracking documentary!
Ron Manager me thinks
Ron Manager.webp
