We mullered them to that day, carved them up and spat them out, he was Greta Thunberg furious probably my favorite Everton Match of the last 20 years.

What many are forgetting is the years before he left were finishing ahead of them pretty regularly and they had wonga - Rafael "Beneath us".

The CL Hail Mary papered over a lot of cracks of his reign.

A 0-0 at Anfield?

Here here mate. Do you think he would do OK at Everton?
I genuinely think he will do wonders. He is a far better manager than people understand outside LFC fans. His only issue is he has a penchant for nasty politics with owners if he doesn't get his way with transfers. He will make your team functionally superior and the defence will be amazing. He can be rigid, but if you back him, he will do miracles.

Jesus wept...Shankly started the entitlement of the cult at the rs.
People have short memories.
"he lives on Merseyside" - big fecking deal, why don't you?
Moshiri is content for us to remain an irrelevant mid table club as long as the new stadium gets built. We won't be winning trophies any time soon with the FSW.
If living in Liverpool is a requirement then give it the landlord of the Winslow

Amazing that people see what's going on here and think Kenwright is the one to blame.

He's got plenty of flaws, but open your eyes ffs.

He probably isn't to blame, but he has overseen the least successful period in the clubs history and has continued to hang around like a bad smell. I can see why people would blame him, as things haven't changed despite us having a new owner and he is still here.

Erm....he has done NONE of this at any club since the RS.

Also, this is what Bolton fans still say about Big Sam.

mate this is all on Moshiri

In no universe would Bill Kenwright be hand picking or even suggesting Rafael Benítez as manager of the club.

It may be that he is putting up no resistance to the move - although I suspect he is, if reports of a divided boardroom are to be believed - but then Moshiri is the owner so there's a limit to what he can do to prevent this total insult to everyone associated with the club.

Be interesting to see what the new manager will do regarding Dunc, if he's forced to have him as assistant it smacks of him being weak from the get go..

It will be a kick in the teeth for the big man too, he wants the job and would would have been giving long ago if it's something the board wanted.

He managed both the RS and Chelsea, and won trophies at both. This should be Moshiri’s first request of any potential manager...”show us your medals”... otherwise just give it to Dunc.....
I know he can win trophies with a better standard of player, but I think the best we are likely to get with him is stability. Not such a bad thing with the stadium in the offing, but I still can't think it would be a good appointment because it is already proving divisive, and will probably affect the atmosphere around the club.
