Whilst it is really embarrassing and paints all the fans in bad light.

It will spur Rafael on even more, this will make him say, I'm going to prove you all wrong.
You are theoneandooooonly. You can wrap your fingers round my Everton thumb. And hold me tight.

Except Gattuso has top level experience over 3-4 seasons and Dunc has 3 games.
I was sceptical about Gattuso but he did a better job at Napoli than Ancelotti.
I agree competely, so it's about time someone takes a chance on big Dunc and why not us? Less controversial than Rafael and would at least motivate the players which apart from his games in charge we haven't seen for quite some time.

The Moshiri, Kenwright and the rest of them need to think REALLY carefully about this because if they appointment Benitez it will destroy their relationship with a sizeable chunk of the fanbase irreparably. I'm not that arsed about the prospect of Benitez managing us personally but the poisonous atmosphere it would 100% lead to at the match makes the decision totally out of the question. It would be awful, I haven't waited since March 2020 to finally return to my home from home only to have the place be absolutely venomous against the manager and the board before a ball has even been kicked. Ffs, it doesn't take a genius to see that it's doomed to fail before its even began.

Gattuso managed 4 years in lower leagues around Europe before he took over the Milan youth setup and after that he got the first team job.

I don't see why we'd give anyone a job as our manager with no experience. Saying that I'd prefer to Big Dunc to Benitez.

Not for me, hasn’t done anything to warrant it other than being an ex player and hero to many. He’s done nothing to suggest he’s tactically apt and capable of getting Everton competing in the top half of the PL. Great motivator and great coach (according to likes of DCL & Godfrey) but for me it has to be someone with bags of experience.
In an era stripped of anything for the fans to cheer about, Ferguson became a cult hero. The fact is, he was not fit to lace up the boots of any of our players in the 80s and was little more than a thug on the pitch. Passion, my arse, he loves us because we were the only fans that tolerated his thuggish behaviour, in fact we revelled in it.

It was lovely seeing him as a temporary stand-in manager, but you won't survive a season in the PL with passion and no plan. Just as you don't really survive with a plan and no passion.

If he wants to be our manager, go down the leagues and see what you can do, then if good enough you can come back. he is certainly not a suitable candidate now.

I don't want the FSW, but if he's the manger I'll support his efforts, despite not liking him one jot. Everton support is greater than the individual, apart from Fat Sam - I boycotted the club when he was there - the club never noticed.

I'm disappointed to see that Spurs seem to be winning the most ridiculous manager appointment race - even though we've been trying so hard - mainstream media is barely taking notice.

Do something batty Moshiri.
