Are we forgetting that our most successful manager came back not once but twice. We were very forgiving of the crap served up in HK3 purely on what he'd done first time. Martinez does not have a legacy with us to buy time. It's a no from me.

Other than the freak cup win, how is he better than the others? He's coaching by far the most talented squad in Europe at the moment and not won anything yet.

All I remember from his time with us was phenomenal possession (usually by tapping it around amongst the defence, passing it to midfield then back to defence over and over and over), and conceding a free-kick/corner and it being a guaranteed goal against.
